Fog Like Mind
It’s morning here and I’m sitting in the midst of the oceans waves hitting the shore. Hearing the birds deeps in their off season chatter. The sky and the ocean are the same mystic shade of grey, transforming into one otherworldly being. The boats in the distance blend into the sky, disappearing sweetly into the horizon. One second and you’ll miss it. Oh the bliss of controlled disappearance. I love this fog as much as I fear it. It forces me to focus on what is directly in front o f me, everything else is irrelevant. A song passes through my mind, Labri Siffre harmonizing with the birds and my subconscious. Swans pass by dancing in the bay. Their morning routine doused with godlike tranquility. In this moment I am the fog the ocean the sky the swans. Like the fog I am everything and nothing. I am the peace that mystery brings.
